We offer a wide assortment of fun activities for you and your family. Please check the calendar for cancellations, and updated times.

  PUBLIC SKATE –  Recreational skating on Sundays 1:00pm to 3:30pm and Wednesdays 10:00am to 11:00am

  $2 per student, $3 per adult, $6 per family.

extra ice time on p.a. days and holidays.

 

                                TINY TOTS – Time for parents to bring their preschoolers (5 and under) out to learn how to skate during drop- in skating time. NO COST!

                                       (No sticks, pucks or facility chairs will be allowed on the ice surface during this time.)

Tuesday & Thursday 10:30am to 11:30am.

 

    ADULT SKATE –  Time for adults (18 yrs and older) to come and enjoy recreational drop-in skating at the East Elgin Community Complex.

                                    (No sticks, pucks or facility chairs will be allowed on the ice surface during this time.)

Tuesday & Thursday 9:30am to 10:30am, $3 per skater.

 

                             SHINNY – Pick-up hockey scheduled at East Elgin Community Complex on Tuesday & Friday 3:30pm to 5:00pm. CSA Approved Helmet required; Full Face mask, gloves, neck protector and stick Recommended. $5 per player.

 

                               MINI SHINNY – A unique combination of the current Tiny Tots and Shinny Hockey programs. Preschool age children (5 and under) can play hockey in an unstructured environment.  Wednesday 11:00am to 12:00pm, $2 per preschool .

 

SUPER SHINNY – Pick-Up hockey scheduled for individuals over 20 years of age.

               Sunday 9:00pm to 10:30pm  $5 per player and goalies are free.

 

FIGURE SKATING – Ice time scheduled for figure skating practice to supplement Skate Canada Club Programs.

Ice is not sanctioned by Skate Canada.

Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 3:00pm to 5:00pm, $5 per skater.

 

                                          SHUFFLEBOARD – Our most popular seniors program to date.  A game in which disks are slid with a pronged cue along a smooth level surface toward one of two usually triangular  targets  painted on the surface and divided into numbered scoring areas.

Monday and Wednesday 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

 

SENIORS DAY OUT –  A day for seniors to get out and enjoy recreational activities, guest speakers, fitness and lunch.

registration is required.  Held on the 4th Tuesday of each month. (does not run June, July, August and December)

 

IN” BETWEEN” SHINNY – Pick-up hockey scheduled for individuals 6 – 12 years old. (September to March)

$3 per person.

 

                                  PICKLEBALL – A racquet sport that combines the elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two, or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a wiffle ball, over a net. $3 per person.

Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday from 9:00am to 11:00am

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday from 6:30pm to 9:30pm
